Staci has been married to her husband, Nathan, since 1997. They have four children: Meagan- age 12, Carson- age 9, Riley-age 6, and Trevin- age31. Staci was raised in church since birth and currently worships with her family at Hazelwood Christian. She taught and directed the preschool at Hazelwood Christian Church for three years, prior to forming Elite Cheer and Dance in 1999. In addition to coaching, Staci enjoys vacationing at the beach, scrap-booking, “a fun night out with the kids”, date nights with her husband, and cookouts with family and friends.

Lindsay was born and raised in the Mill Creek area. She is employed at Mill Creek East Elementary where she loves working as the assistant LD teacher.. Lindsay and her husband, Matt, also own their own photography business. They reside in the Clayton area with the miniature poodle, Coco. In addition to her other commitments, Lindsay loves having the opportunity to coach the CHS cheerleaders. In her “spare” time, Lindsay loves scrap booking, spending time with her family and friends, and vacations!
Barb Smith - Elite United, Inc. Treasurer

Experience:
- Received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from IU and is currently a CPA
- Received her Master of Science Degree in Education in May 2010
- Has worked in various accounting functions ranging from international tax consulting, to not-for-profit and small business tax consulting since 1989.
- Helped form and currently serves as Director for Plainfield Christian Church Preschool, overseeing the financial, human resource and day-to-day operations
- Served as PTO President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary for many schools within the Plainfield School Corporation since 1998.
- Cheer experience includes six years of school cheerleading and coach for recreational youth squads for the Eagledale Football Assoc. and the Plainfield Optimist Club
Barb is married to Mark, her husband since 1988. They have two children, Alec and Maisie. Barb has been an active member of Plainfield Christian Church since 1995. In her free time, Barb enjoys walks with her husband, reading, and playing board games with her children.

Maria was born November 19, 1986 in Clayton, IN. She was born and raised in church and currently attends Grace Missionary Church in Mooresville. She has worked as a nurse in the ICU at St. Vincent’s hospital since June 2008. In her free time she enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family (esp. nieces and nephews), and taking long walks while vacationing at the beach.
Holly Wasmundt - Preschool teacher and Cheer Coach

Holly is a 2004 graduate of Cascade H.S. and a 2008 graduate of Butler University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a member of Kingsway Christian Church where she enjoys volunteering in many children’s ministry activities.. In her spare time Holly enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and twin daughters, Lilly and Maddie, and couponing!.

Kelsey is the sixth out of seven children, daughter of Mark and Leslie Cooper. She currently attends school at IUPUI. Kelsey enjoys attending church regularly. Like most girls her age, if you can pull her away from the gym, she enjoys spending extra time with her friends and family, shopping, shopping,…and shopping.
Billie Jamison - Cheer, tumbling, and partner stunting coach

Experience:

- Ranked 30th in the country as a Junior Olympic Gymnast
- Nationally ranked as high as 2nd on Pommel Horse in college.
- Member of William and Mary Men’s Gymnastics team where they placed 10th place in the nation.
- Co-owner of Fusion Gymnastics for 2 yrs.
Billie graduated from Cascade High School in 1998 as Salutatorian, then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the college of William and Mary. He married his high school sweetheart after graduation and currently works for Accenture when he’s not coaching at Elite. He’s also very involved at his church by leading the worship band. He and Krista had an family addition this year with the birth of his twins, Will and Ellie.

Debbie Atwood - Cheer coach

Debbie graduated from Danville High School in 1989. She married her high school sweetheart, Scott and now have 4 children. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children play baseball, golf, basketball, football, cheerleading, and coaching. She also enjoys riding horses and camping all across the country.

Casey Cole - Sensei Elite Martial Arts
Experience:
Mr. Cole has been involved in martial arts for five years. He has a second degree black belt in Shorei-Goju-Ryu Karate. He takes classes at Phil Morgans Karate in Plainfield. Mr. Cole has attended seminars in Kyusho jutsu, Karate, Qigong, Judo, and Muay Thai. He has taught many self defense seminars for women and children. He teaches Karate at Elite Martial Arts in Clayton, Indiana. He frequently puts on public demonstrations and occasionally competes in tournaments. He is proficient in Karate, Dim Mak, Qigong, Muay Thai, Capoeria, Judo, and Jujutsu. He is familiar with many of the eastern methods of healing such as Reiki, Acupuncture, Acupressure, and Herbology. Mr. Cole founded the Avon Martial Arts Club after years of planning and approving. He has been running the club for two years now. He has been directing Elite Martial Arts since 2008.
Kris Blackburn - Before school care, summer care, desk worker

Kris was born and raised in the Mill Creek area. Kris graduated from Cascade High School in 1986. In 1989 she married her high school sweetheart Todd. They have 3 children Cody, Bailey and Lexi. Currently Kris works for the child nutrition department at Cascade High School as well as at Elite. In her spare time Kris likes to watch her kids participate in sports, read, scrapbook and relax in the sun.

Courtney was raised in Hazelwood, IN and graduated from Cascade High School in 2006. She attended the Herron School of Art and Design and earned her degree in Art Education. She currently coaches at Lawrence Central High School. She also coaches many of our classes here at Elite, including Power Cheer, private tumbling, semi-privates, and Minis-Youth-Senior Teams. She has two golden retrievers and enjoys attending concerts, dancing, and creating art in her spare time.
Kelly Behringer - Dance Instructor
Experience:
- BA with Honors in Dance from Butler University, emphasis in dance pedagogy
- Former dancer with The Louisville Ballet Company and Louisville Ballet Civic Company
- 15 years of dance teaching experience in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, and tap dance
- Studied with Louisville Ballet Company, Milwaukee Ballet Company, and Nashville Ballet, Butler University, and University of Louisville Dance Conservatory as well as numerous dance masters
- Professional choreographer, has choreographed full length ballets such as Nutcracker, Composition pieces for Butler University and Louisville ballet, studio recitals, as well as show choirs, musicals and dance teams.
Kelly is married to Dan, a wonderful man and amazing jazz and classical musician. They have two boys, Miles (5) and Graham (4). You often see them hanging around Plainfield riding their bikes, playing at Hummel park, hanging out at the library or running in and out of Plainfield United Methodist church. In addition to her passion for dance, Kelly is positively addicted to crafts! Her latest obsession is knitting!
Kristin Crabtree - Cheer Coach

Kristin has been married to her husband, Brian, since 2000. They have two daughters Tycee-7 and Baylee-5. Kristin works as an elementary p.e. teacher at Roachdale in the mornings and a Biology teacher at North Putnam High School in the afternoons. The Crabtree family resides in the Greencastle area along with their dog “Sugar”. Kristin enjoys taking family vacations, swimming, watching football with her hubby, and playing with her girls!
April Lane - Preschool Teacher and Extended Care Staff member
Biography:
Miss April attended classes at Ivy Tech for Early Childhood Education and Positive Reinforcement
studies. She spent seven years as a nanny with two different families. She has spent the past 12+ years
working with children in the community, as a substitute teacher with the Mill Creek School
System, Preschool teacher within schools and daycare settings, and has worked for Old National Trails
with hearing impaired students in six different school districts. Miss April has two children of her
own who are the joy of her life! She enjoys spending time with family, loves animals, and is quite handy
at crafting!
