As many of you know Coach Lindsay and her husband, Matt took Elite’s Cheer pictures this year. If you’d like to contact their business please click on the following link. www.crownedprints.blogspot.com

Elite Martial Arts students study the style known as Shorei GoJu Ryu. It originated from Japan and includes skills regarding manners, self-defense, katas, optional sparring, etc. The program runs parallel with Elite Cheer and Dance and is structured very similarly. Students discounts apply for additional classes/siblings. Current discounts are given at 10% and are available to anyone participating in any Elite program.

Phil Morgan from Phil Morgan’s Karate in Plainfield has been very generous in aiding the structure of this new program. He sends out a black belt instructor whom he has trained. Our instructor is 17 years old and is a 3rd degree black belt, coming from an entire family of blackbelts! Phil has been very instrumental in helping us make a smooth and quick transition to a new program and he has agreed to continue educating us on how to run a high quality, professional program that will benefit our families.

Students may wear their white or black gi during classes. However, white gis should be worn at Promotions.

Elite Martial Arts members are automatically members of Elite United, Inc. Elite United is our not-for-profit organization that allows members to fundraise and take advantage of tax exemptions when purchasing things through Elite. Each student has his/her own account and keeps 90% of the profit he/she raises. Account money may be used to purchase equipment, martial arts clothing, registration fees, competition and promotion fees, etc. It may not be used for tuition.

Promotions will be performed by Mr. Phil Morgan. Promotions will be offered every 4-6 weeks and will cost $25 each. Cost includes a new belt, as well as a diploma. Specific belt requirements must be met before promoting.

Classes are currently held on the following days/times: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Students are encouraged to attend as many times each week as possible-no extra cost involved!)

  • 5:00-5:30  White and Gold belts
  • 5:30-6:00  Yellow, Orange, and Green belts
  • 6:00-6:30  Blue, Purple, and Brown belts

10% discounts apply for additional siblings/classes enrolled in through Elite Cheer and Dance/Elite Martial Arts.

We do not require contract commitments. Payments are due by the 10th of each month.

The registration fee is $75 and includes a t-shirt, a black gi, a white gi, and a vehicle decal.

We have combined Mr. Morgan’s knowledge and advice with how we run our existing Elite Program to offer what we believe is the best karate program we can give our students. Mr. Morgan agreed to help us, in part, due to the fact that the sport of martial arts should be a great experience for anyone involved. We’re looking forward to serving your family.
