Barb Smith-Elite United, Inc. Treasurer
Experience:
- Received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from IU and is currently a CPA
- Has worked in various accounting functions ranging from international tax consulting, to not-for-profit and small business tax consulting since 1989.
- Helped form and currently serves as Director for Plainfield Christian Church Preschool, overseeing the financial, human resource and day-to-day operations
- Served as PTO President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary for many schools within the Plainfield School Cooperation since 1998.
- Cheer experience includes six years of school cheerleading and coach for recreational youth squads for the Eagledale Football Assoc. and the Plainfield Optimist Club
Biography: Barb is married to Mark, her husband since 1998. They have two children: Alec and Maisie. Barb has been an active member of Plainfield Christian Church since 1995. In her free time, Barb enjoys walks with her husband, reading, and playing board games with her children.
